The Specialized Diploma in Banking Studies (SDBS)

This diploma is destinated to those willing to develop their professional abilities and to improve their environment knowledge to better respond to the new careers' requirements. The candidates must fulfill some prerequisites.

Looking in the first place for banking professionalism, this program was conceived in a way to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, know how and behavior required in the banking career.

This program has a duration of three academic years for the Baccalaureate holders and 2 academic years for the holders of a BS in Business Administration or Economics.

The SDBS program has been applied from the academic year 1996/1997 and 475 bank employees have been graduated till June 2007.

The core program consists of 24 courses distributed on 6 semesters and it is delivered in 2 sections: Arabo-French & Arabo-English.

The instructors of the SDBS program are chosen for their professional experience as well as for their academic specialization.

The Centre tries to apply the latest methods, avoiding classical lectures introducing practical studies and life cases and encouraging the discussion and dialogue among students. The training program acquisition is validated by continuous testing, a mid term exam and a final exam. The candidates have to fill an application form and present the entrance exam.
