The Association of Banks in Lebanon published the following press release:

The ABL Board of Directors held a meeting this afternoon to discuss the current situation. It called on all member banks to fully implement the preventive measures recommended by the Ministry of public health in their headquarters and branches, in order to avoid the COVID-19 pandemic and limit its spread in the country, and for the sake of ensuring the safety of employees and clients. It is important to mention that the ABL did not call on banks to close on Saturday the 14th of March 2020.
