Following the memorandum issued by the Presidency of the Lebanese Council of Ministers mourning the death of the Head of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, and in parallel with his funeral day, the Board of Directors of the Association of Banks in Lebanon called banks to close their branches and administrations on Tuesday 7 September 2021.
