Bank of Beirut has announced that its “Lebnen al Bel” prepaid and credit cards denominated in Lebanese Pounds and issued in collaboration with Visa International, are now available in all the Bank’s branches spread across Lebanon. This announcement comes in follow up of the MOU signature with the Ministry of Tourism and the Middle East Airlines (MEA) late 2010.
“Lebnen al Bel” , the first card dedicated to the support of Lebanon’s Tourism Sector, thiscard in Lebanese Pounds is designed to promote the Lebanese tourism sector given that a large part of the card revenue is allocated to the support and development of tourism projects, in partnership with the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism. The card offers its holders various discounts and privileges in hotels, restaurants, tourist sites, travel agencies, car rentals and other retailers, in addition to free SIM cards from Alfa and up to sixty-minute free talk time from Alfa and mtc touch.
Available as both a credit and prepaid card, “Lebnen al Bel” addresses Lebanese residents and expatriates as well as tourists of all ages, granting them the chance to easily pay their purchases in Lebanese Pounds, locally and globally. The prepaid card is available in three denominations LBP 300,000, LBP 750,000 and LBP 1,200,000, and the credit card in three types: Classic, Gold and Platinum.
