In line with its continuous efforts to contribute towards the society and build a safer and more secure environment, BLOM BANK in collaboration with the Lebanese Army and MasterCard has launched the “Calling Heroes” campaign. This campaign aims to encourage the society to support the initiative that finances the “Mine Action Program” in Lebanon, and it is aligned with BLOM Bank’s strategy to promote Peace of mind. By using the “Giving” card to make purchases, cardholders will be able to contribute towards removing mines and cluster bombs from all Lebanese territories.
The “BLOM MasterCard Giving Card” is the first of its kind payment solution that combines the advantages of a credit card while also allowing the cardholder to make financial contribution to the Lebanon Mine Action Center. With this card, cardholders can contribute towards reducing the number of mines and save Lebanese territories without bearing any extra costs.
In fact, BLOM Bank donates half the price of the Giving card to the “Lebanon Mine Action Center” and with every 100 dollars spent by the cardholder. Furthermore, MasterCard’s ‘Purchase with Purpose’ Program will provide support by removing one additional mine with every new Gold or Titanium “Giving” card issued during the months of August and September, or with every two purchases done by the cardholder during that period.
The “BLOM MasterCard Giving Card” campaign for this year aims at enhancing our support to the Lebanese Army on its 69th anniversary and recognizes its efforts in demining the Lebanese territory from all war traces, to ensure a better and safer future for our children so we can live with peace of mind.
