As a result of the meeting held today at 2pm between the ABL Board of Directors Bureau headed by Chairman Salim Sfeir and the Federation of Syndicates of Banks Employees in Lebanon headed by Mr. Georges El Hajj; and after the appropriate public and professional conditions have been ensured to resume the work in the banking sector and the Federation’s announcement to end the general strike, the Association of Banks in Lebanon calls on all operating banks in Lebanon to reopen their branches in all regions and to resume their usual activity starting tomorrow Tuesday 19th of November 2019.
