The Association of Banks in Lebanon published the following press release:

In solidarity with our people, the ABL’s Board of Directors calls on the banks’ administrations and employees to stand in front of their offices and branches on Wednesday the 10th of August 2020 at noon, in commemoration of the explosion that took place at Beirut port, in order to denounce the murder of our people and the destruction of Beirut’s streets.

We expect a full commitment to this circular to express solidarity of the banking community with our people in general and Beirut’s residents in particular.
