Following the discussions held with the BDL (Central Bank), and awaiting the establishment and functioning of the electronic platform designed by the BDL to set the daily foreign exchange rates, the Association of Banks in Lebanon recommended to set the dollar exchange rate at LBP 2600 for banking operations of small depositors up to USD 3000 or LBP 5 000 000, in conformity with BDL circular number 148 published on the 3rd of April 2020.
