The Association of Banks in Lebanon welcomes the formation of the new government with hope and prospect, and wishes that this event leaves a positive impact on the country’s situation, awaiting the restoration of trust, security and economic and financial stability. The ABL also underlines that this government is expected to prepare a clear economic and financial plan that would take into consideration the challenges Lebanon is currently facing. The ABL is foreseeing an immediate and prompt execution of the reforms agreed on by all Lebanese and predicted by friendly and fraternal states. In addition, the ABL promises its clients and employees, and the public opinion, that it is ready to offer help in order to emerge from the economic and financial crisis, and to assist in providing comfort to the Lebanese people. It affirms as well that it will follow up on the establishment and implementation of the economic and financial policies, and it will not spare any judicious advice for the good of the country and its people.
