The Association of Banks in Lebanon published the following press release:

The President of the Association of Banks in Lebanon Dr. Salim Sfeir wrote to Prime Minister Hassan Diab informing him that « banks will be ready, as usual, to ensure the salaries of both public and private sector employees by the end of January, without the need of exceptional or additional measures to this end.»
