The Communication & PR Department in the Association of Banks in Lebanon wishes to explain that it haven’t published an official press release denying the news circulating through some media outlets concerning the withdrawal of the ABL from ongoing negotiations with the Ministry of Finance and Lazard. However, the ABL regrets and denounces the negative spirit that dominated the reunion held today in the Ministry of Finance, discouraging therefore the progress towards an agreement between the stakeholders that can lead to solutions for the current crisis.
